The Series on Leadership Essentials (SOLE) is dedicated to helping you lead in your role and is facilitated by the 91Ïã½¶¶ÌÊÓÆµ System Human Resources Learning and Organizational Development team. 

 SOLE represents a significant investment in leadership development for staff leaders grade 9 and below on behalf of the entire 91Ïã½¶¶ÌÊÓÆµ System.

What to Expect 

SOLE is conducted over four, virtual 90-minute sessions. These sessions generally occur once a week for four weeks. During SOLE, you will have the opportunity to explore the following topics:

    • Growth mindset 

    • Understanding and maximizing your workstyle 

    • Planning for your future development 

  • Session Two 

    • Building trust and creating psychological safety 

    • Giving and receiving feedback 

    • Developing others 

  • Session Three 

    • Peer mentoring workshop 

  • Session Four 

    • Contingency planning and navigating workplace disruptions 

    • Project planning and organizing a workgroup 

    • Identifying and engaging with stakeholders
